The Navam Perahera is Sri Lanka's most vibrant Buddhist cultural pageant, held annually at Colombo's Gangaramaya Temple, featuring a spectacular night procession with 100+ elaborately decorated elephants, traditional dancers, drummers, stilt-walkers, and monks, showcasing rich cultural heritage with fire and rhythmic music, attracting huge crowds of locals and tourists to witness the island's deep-rooted traditions come alive in a dazzling display of devotion and artistry.

Nuga Gama (Banyan Village) is a unique, village-themed Sri Lankan restaurant at the Cinnamon Grand Colombo, offering an immersive cultural and culinary experience under a large banyan tree, featuring traditional mud huts, open kitchens, authentic local dishes (like hoppers and curries), live cooking, and nightly cultural shows with dancers and drummers, transporting diners to a rustic Sri Lankan village setting with organic, freshly prepared food.
